We are here in Beijing! There was a hiccup or 2 during travel due to wind in the windy city so we got here via Denver and LA instead of Chicago. Ted has a very detailed (if you know my husband well you are smiling) account of our travel that I will post later - probably in segments. It is handwritten in his notebook and I will type it up and share it here.
In other news we boarded our flight to Beijing at midnight on 11/30 which happens to be my birthday. Ted and Robby sang Happy Birthday to me on the plane. We crossed the International Date Line approximately 5 hours later. Good thing birthdays don't matter much when you are turning 41 because Robby thinks I've been jipped.
