The day I've been looking forward too... nothing to do but lounge around the camp ground.
Oh sure, that's not how it's worked out but we've had a fun day, no less. We made breakfast burritos over the fire this morning that only took about 3 hours to cook. No joke. I started cutting peppers, onions, potatoes and cooking the bacon at roughly 9am and we ended up finishing "breakfast" at around noon.
It's a long story...
Lots of swinging on the tire swing today as well as swimming, building bird feeders (momma and the boys did this craft while I was cooking), fires, mom and the boys went to the movie in the office building tonight after dinner and we all went on a the wagon ride around the premises after that.
I'm typing this up while watching the skies for the perceid (that is likely spelled horribly wrong) meteor showers tonight.
I was standing up stretching and looked up just in time to see a very nice bright was streak thru the sky! Very cool.
I'm off to bed shortly as we're going to church up in Fish Creek in the morning. That's the church where our old Pastor, Chris Leonard, preaches at now.
