LCC Rock n' Roll, Kidstmas Style!

This weekend in worship saw the kiddos leading our service. They did the readings, the singing, the offering and probably most impressive to me, serving communion!

They did a great job in everything they did and about the only thing they didn't do was preach.  THAT, would have been awesome!

Robby was adorned in a fantastic suit that looked like it was made for him and him alone.  Caleb had on a button down shirt and a sweater over the top, but it wasn't good enough when he saw his big brother's duds.

Needless to say, it was a lively morning at our house and an energetic morning at worship!

Both China Boy and Hippy Boy are present in this shot.  Can you find them?

The strapping young lads in front of the congregations Christmas tree.  Robby has on a suit that you would think was tailor made for him. It wasn't.  We got it from some cousins of mine who have kids slightly older than ours.  We try to use their clothes as well as we can, and then pass on whatever is left to someone else smaller than our own boys.  That being said, that suit ROCKS!  Caleb came out of the bathroom this morning while Robby was eating breakfast in his suit, and said, "Robby, you have AWESOME clothes!".  He then got really smoked when there wasn't a tie for him to wear.  He's been on it all day long and even the mighty high-octane St. Louis Rams beating the lowly Saints has not thrown him off his path to aquire his own tie.

Robby's feet are EXACTLY like Grandpa Bob's would have been in a similar photo.  Those types of things are both comforting and creepy all at the same time.  Robby's smile is also very similar to his cousin Leah's in this shot.  Caleb?  He's just simply cute.

And then there's this...  This was taken after Sunday school while we were sitting at the back of the sanctuary awaiting the 11am service where the boys would sing again.  Patience was in short supply so we passed some time by taking goofy pictures.

And then there's this one.  This occurred in between the boy spewing forth football stats and hopes for the day.

This was at the 11am service where I went up to the balcony to get a good wide shot of all the little varmints who showed up to sing and worship!  That drummer back there is my friend Lance.  He rocks on drums and is one heckuva good dude to boot!  Can't beat that.

I have some video that refuses to load for me, so I'll try to get that up in the next day or two.  It's too close to bedtime now...
