Jamaica - Part 3 - Day 2

Woke up in the morning to a weird, "swish, swoosh" noise. Not loud or anything, just a, "what the heck is that???" kind of sound.  After listening all night long to the sound of people speeding past the resort on the only road in that area, I finally got up to figure out what the current noise was.

It was this guy!  As it turns out, the workers rake the ENTIRE resort every morning and also throughout the day!  Crazy, yes.  But when you enjoy the cleanliness of everything day after day, it all makes sense!

The walk to breakfast.  That's not a horrible thing to see first thing in the morning!

Same kinda thing...

At breakfast, with the birdies trying to get their fair share!

One of many paths to get lost on after you've had a half day full of cocktails.

That's the entrance to the breakfast restaurant, with the martini bar upstairs!

Eating breakfast...

Same...

Same...

If memory serves me correctly, dude was buying some type of mushrooms from the cat with the Jamaican hat.

The fella known as Iceblock!  He seemed to latch onto me pretty quickly and sang me several songs that he had written.  We bought a couple of shirts from him and while he was completing the transaction, he let me play his guitfiddle!

Time to get out of the sun for a bit.  Our rooms 3rd story porch.

Time to meet friends for dinner and then hit the martini bar!

Yahtzee!  Sign me up!

I don't remember what these drinks were, but that's the martini bar!

The kareoke bar after we determined we had enough martini's.

That was about it for our first full day.  Two of us may have hit one other bar before trying to figure out where the heck our rooms were at midnight after a day of "celebrating".
