After a little time recovering in our hotel room, we headed back out for the nights entertainment, everybodies (except Rob!) first MLB game; NY Yankees vs Chicago Cubs.
We walked up to Grand Central station again and got on a train that quite literally takes you to within about two blocks of Yankees Stadium. When first got on the train, I was thinking, "man, not many people on here, can spread out a little bit", but then with each stop, it got more and more crowded with less and less air flow! By the time we got to the end of the track, that sucker was packed!!

Ready to rumble!!! |

I didn't take pics, but this stadium has prickly pear margaritas that were excellent, but their chicken tenders were right up there with the best we've ever had! |
|
After the game waiting for the crowds to clear; 3 Yankees shirts and 1 UNI. lol |
The train ride back to Grand Central was WWWAAAAAAAAYYYYYY different than the previous ride. I would say that 1/3 of the people were sloppy-arse drunk and still drinking with some wrecklessly spilling on others. It was such a relief to finally get back to where we could simply walk down 42nd St. and only have to worry about being mugged or robbed... or both.
And just like that, day 2 is officially "in the books".
