It's that time of the year again. Amazingly, it's already April and in some ways it feels like we just returned from China last week and in other ways, it feels like we've had Caleb forever. However, the fact that it is indeed April already is hard to believe...
So, we had family night on Monday night this week. We came up with the concept of family after Robby was born in 2005. The idea was that we would have 1 night per month where all of our family was invited over for dinner. No pressure to attend, show up if you want to.
We've been pretty consistent over the last seven years of having them every month. Oh sure, every now and again, schedules get too crazy and we simply can't, but that's rare.
Off to the pics.

Robby, Caleb and Sam out on the swingset. Jonah went to the sandbox instead. |
We went up the back hill to look for snakes (happy to report that we didn't find any!!). The boys decided to roll down the hill. I do not believe that any one of them did a cursory check for dog poo first. |

It's okay, he's a professional. |
Here's the boys, and Aunt Doris, doing the first round of eggs. As far as we know, this is Caleb's first ever egg coloring session. He seemed to enjoy it but at one point I think he was more concerned with racing to do the most eggs so we have some "pastel" eggys. :-) |
He thought I was scolding him when I told him to leave the eggs in the dye a little longer. He doesn't do well with getting scolded. |
You can see a few pastels in this pic. |
The mighty Jonah checking on one of his blue masterpieces. |
Aunt Doris getting in on some of the action. |
Sam with a fantastic green creation! |
I think he's looking for the white crayon where they wrote his name on the egg prior to putting it in the dye. |
Focus, balance and determination! |
The boys, minus Jonah who would NOT get in the photo, posing for a post deed celebratory pic. |
Sam after I told him to do a crazy face for me. I would say that qualifies... |
