The transition went pretty smoothly. There were, of course, some tears but once we got to the bus Caleb (and the rest of us too) have been pretty happy.
Thankfully I am married to the pied piper of kids. I went to do the adoption paperwork and by the time I got back Ted and Caleb had bonded. He didn't want much to do with me initially but he is warming up and has even kissed me a few times. Below Robby and Caleb are dancing.
Very cool. Looks like they are getting along well already. That's exciting to see. Aside from the plane ride, sounds like a good trip so far. All is well on the home front. We got a nice rain on Saturday to turn the grass green again, then mother nature promptly froze it all on Sunday. Typical Iowa weather..lol! No snow on the ground yet. The dusting we received early Sunday morning melted. We are excited to meet Caleb, and look forward to your arrival home. I hope you enjoy the rest of your trip!
